By Bobbi Dooley Hunter

Scarecrows in the Garden was an ideal way for Bobbi to illustrate the way vegetables and fruits grow on long vines or separate plants.

Everyone loves scarecrows because they are all unique, due to scrap materials used in building them! They can be tall or short, skinny or fat. They also protect the seedlings from being eaten by birds and wildlife. Scarecrows are a big help to the farmer.

It’s also fun to know which plants are fruits and which are vegetables, as they often grow side by side.
